Terms and refunds

Last updated: 14 October 2026

These terms apply when you buy or use a recording from Softer Mind. We've tried to keep them short and clear.

Who we are

Softer Mind, The Studio, Dobson Way, Congleton, Cheshire CW12 1GP. Email: hello@softermind.com.

Buying a recording

  • Prices are shown in pounds and include any VAT or sales tax. Depending on where you live, the checkout may show your price in your local currency.
  • Payments are processed by Stripe, which acts as the reseller and merchant of record for your purchase. Stripe handles your payment and any tax due, and its own terms apply to the payment.
  • When your payment goes through, you can listen to your recordings straight away in your browser and download them as MP3 files. We also email you a link to them.

Your 60-day money-back promise

If you're not happy with a recording for any reason, email hello@softermind.com within 60 days of buying it, and we'll refund you in full. You don't need to give a reason.

This promise is on top of your legal rights. The law gives you a 14-day right to cancel online purchases, but for digital content that right ends once you start listening or downloading, which you agree to when you buy. Our 60-day promise still applies after that. If a recording is faulty or doesn't match its description, you're also entitled to a repair, replacement or refund under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Using your recordings

When you buy a recording, you get a personal licence to listen to it as often as you like, for as long as you like, on your own devices.

Please don't copy, share, sell, broadcast or upload the recordings, scripts or music. They're our original work and protected by copyright. If you'd like to use them with clients, in a class or in a business, email us first.

Health and safety

Our recordings are for relaxation and general wellbeing. They are not medical treatment, and they don't replace HRT, medication or advice from your GP or another health professional. We don't promise any particular result.

Never listen while driving, operating machinery or doing anything that needs your full attention. If you have epilepsy, psychosis, a personality disorder, or are being treated for a serious mental health condition, please check with your doctor before using hypnosis recordings. See How to listen safely.

Our responsibility to you

We take care to make our recordings and website work well. If something goes wrong because we've broken these terms or failed to use reasonable care, we're responsible for loss you suffer that was a foreseeable result. We're not responsible for loss that wasn't foreseeable. Nothing in these terms limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

Changes and the law

We may update these terms from time to time; the version on this page when you buy is the one that applies to your purchase. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
